In accordance with the proactive disclosure obligation under the Freedom of Information Act (IFG), the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees’ (BFA) State Documentation service makes relevant documents available at https://www.staatendokumentation.at and https://ecoi.net, as well as via https://data.gv.at.
The country information contained in the BFA’s Country Documentation can be viewed at https://ecoi.net following registration. Registration is required for organisational reasons, in line with the principle of working in a needs-based manner.
The BFA’s Country Documentation recommends using its methodology to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the documents, in accordance with the statutory mandate of the Country Documentation.
